This week we got a special message from Lilpocket Took who needs our help. She has had her friend kidnapped in the Shire and has been tracking the Goblins that did it.
Can help us get her to the right place to find her friend?
Simply listen to the message and email sparthir@gmail.com your suggestions.
If you need a map of the Shire check one out at http://dynmap.ruslotro.com/#The Shire and that should help.

Another exciting episode of the LotroWorld.com Podcast is out. This week we have three Hunters remembering the good old times and also giving some great hints and tips on how to play the class.
I’m joined by Saks of The Uruk Hunter fame to help interview Throrthin of the Windfola server. We cover heaps of great information and even afterwards realised there is a lot more we could have talked about.

LotroWorld.com Podcast: Episode Nine – Zap, Burn and Heal
Sep 19th
This weeks episode is all about the Runekeeper class. We are joined by Saks (aka The Uruk Hunter) who was kind enough to give us a great run down on this class. He’s convinced me to roll a Runekeeper with his fantastic description.
You can follow Saks on twitter here or visit his cool site here. He has lots of videos to view that I for one really like.
Below are some sites you can get some more information about the Runekeeper class.

LotroWorld.com Podcast: Episode Eight – Let Us Ambush!
Sep 11th
This week the Warden gets a voice. After seemingly being maligned last week by a Guardian we allow a Warden to speak up. Chris from www.lotroreporter.com fame helps us understand the Warden class better and discusses things such as breaking Ambush and more.
We are joined by Wardazar an Elf Warden in the Cor Pethroni kinship on the Brandywine server.
To make it easier to find out more here are some helpful links to more information about Wardens. He has a very good way of describing the seemingly confusing Gambit system.

Burglar Introduction and Levels 1 – 10
Sep 10th
Welcome to my look at the Burglar class. I’ll do my best to do a brief overview on the class in a similar layout to the way the the other writers on www.lotroreporter.com have done. However I didn’t want to delve too deeply into the way burglars do things, other than to note that they split things up into level blocks.I’m starting with levels 1 to 10 and hope to continue in the same manner until we get to level 65.
Firstly, however, I wanted to explain what the Burglar is basically about.
The Burglar is the master of stealth, the debuff, positional damage and starting fellowship manoeuvres (also known as Conjunctions or “cj’s”). They have other aspects to what they do, but basically that is where their strengths are.
Also before we get started I wanted to clear up some terminology. To make it easier to type and to save myself explaining on every skill what it does I want to define some acronyms or you. Also it is a good idea to learn these acronyms, because I’ve found they are used quite a bit on websites and also when talking to people in game.
DD = Direct Damage to your enemy.
DoT = Damage over Time for your enemy. Also known in the business as a “bleed”. This means that damage is done to your enemy over a period of time, not just in one big hit.
DH = Direct Heal to you.
HoT = Heal over Time for you.
LotroWorld.com Podcast: Episode Seven – The Guardian *tink* *tink* *tink*!
Sep 4th
Welcome back to a fresher and more exciting format for the LotroWorld.com podcast. This time we have an interview about the Guardian class with Silverleaf of the Windfola server.
Silverleaf takes us through his experiences as a Guardian and answers some questions about the class. We talk about a range of things from the different skills through to the role a Guardian takes in a group.
Silverleaf can be found stomping around on the Windfola server and is a level 65 Guardian with the race of man.
Show notes are far shorter because this was a freeform interview and not a scripted show. However here are some links to further resources for the Guardian class.

Thanks goes to Silverleaf for taking the time out to talk to me and share with the audience his knowledge on the Guardian class.
Question: Does it still count as an easter-egg if you say that there is an easter-egg?

The Minstrel
Hi, Im a Minstrel (sometimes called a minnie) and my main task is healing and buffs but I can deal some damage using songs. I can set myself up as a healing minstrel or a fighting one. Some prefer to do both but there is a short time of inactivity of healing or fighting when changing over, and it depends on the individuals play style of how they want to play there minstrel.
When in healing mode a Minstrel can heal more morale to others and themselves. One must remember to get heals you must be in a Minstrels line of site. When in fighting mode a Minstrels heals percentage is reduced. But as a Minstrel it is important to watch the stats of all in the group and heal accordingly.

LotroWorld.com Podcast: Episode Three
Jul 14th
Episode 3 – Don’t forget the Captain
Welcome back. I am going to continue my look into different classes in this series. Just a note for those expecting a detailed stats driven episode: not going to happen. These are just overview looks with some stats in there but mostly just a quick look at each class and what it can generally do. My aim is to really provide some information to other classes as to what might be going on. So that you can point someone who doesn’t quite get what is going on to one of these episodes.
In this episode we are going to focus on one of the more overlooked and underrated classes. Pay attention class because the Captain might not stand out in any one particular area but as they shore up so many different things within a group they can be vital. I have lost count of the number of quests that have been significantly easier with a captain around. So put on the uniform and stand to attention.
