LOTRO Reporter is happy to announce that we will once again be holding our Random Acts of Kindness contest. This contest encourages your to do onto others as you would have them do onto you. We’re trying to encourage players to help their fellow man, hobbit, dwarf, elf, or even creep!

Take a look after the break to find out how the contest will work!

Here’s how things are going to work:

1) Describe a random act of kindness you experienced within LOTRO.  It can be either something you did for someone or something someone did for you or even something someone did for someone else you know!  Document the act as best you can – stories, screenshots or chat-logs are all great additions!  The more of the story we get, the better. Then send the details to lotro.reporter@gmail.com.

2) We will close the contest at 5:00PM PST on December 13th, 2010

3) All emails will be given a numerical value, in the order in which they were received (i.e. first email = 1, second = 2, and so on).

4) Random.org will be used to determine a grand prize winner and a runner up.

The grand prize winner will receive a Smaug Stein from Taverncraft.com. This is a beautiful stein, and I wish I was getting one myself! The runner up will receive a Prancing Pony etched glass mug.

Some great prizes from Taverncraft.com.

A few rules:

1) Only one entry per person.

2) Shipping is paid for North American winners only. If you don’t live in North America, and want to enter, please do so realizing that you will be asked to pay for the shipping before the Stein or Mug is shipped. If you don’t like this, don’t enter.

3) Only real Acts of Kindness. Feel free to embellish, but please don’t fabricate the entire story.

4) Contest will close at 5:00PM PST on December 8th. If the time stamp on the email is anything after that, I’m sorry, but it’s too late to enter.

Good luck everyone.

See you in-game!
