As I wrote on my Blog, it’s nice to see people doing something rather than nothing. But in all honesty the event wasn’t that well attended.

I was hoping for numbers similar to the infamous pre Mirkwood charge of December 2009. That got the GMs attention.

@Timber Wolf The point was for the European players to show their displeasure at the lack of information coming from Codemaster about the delay of the F2P launch.

While the idea was great, there wasn’t enough advance notice for this event. I only found out about it after it’d happened. Its a shame, because the lack of regular updates from Codemasters (and their refusal to enlighten their playerbase as to what the actual issues are) is getting increasingly frustrating and this seemed like a good way to vent this anger, and make Codies listen up. Lets just hope they can get F2P out soonTM :/

@Xusia – yeah I have fond memories of that night! we had so many Gilrainians swimming across the Anduin to reach the shores of Mirkwood before the expansion was released. Great fun :)
