Weatherstock and Lonely Mountain Band mentioned on the BBC!
Recently, Weatherstock (more info here) and our friends over at The Lonely Mountain Band kinship were mentioned on Massively. This article continues a series of great press that has been coming out of Landroval, the un-official Role Play server for Lord of the Rings Online. What’s really cool is that the British Broadcasting Corporation, otherwise known as the BBC, picked up this massively story and included a mention of Weatherstock in a Tech Brief column, which you can find here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/seealso/2010/06/tech_brief_26.html.
Read the article carefully. Is there anything missing? Perhaps, oh, a mention of which game this takes place in? That’s right, not one mention that Weatherstock is taking place in Lord of the Rings Online. Now, I’m sure that all of the people who are attending, as well as anyone who plays the game and may now decided to attend, will know this, but I still think it’s humorous.
