Deed Experiment, ummm, I mean Skirmish Experiment!
As many of you know, I’ve been working on a Deed Experiment for a while now. What was the Deed Experiment? I was trying to level my Rune Keeper from level 10 strictly through completing deeds. My goal was to see what that would be like, and what the character would be like when they reached maxed level. As many people commented, yes, it’s possible, and no, it’s not fun.
I haven’t given up on that, as I still think it would be interesting to see what that would be like. I do, however, need the Rune Keeper for another purpose. I need a healer for player content to play with Sallenia and my mother-in-law when Bill and Isanni can’t be on that night. I thought at first of using my Captain, but after an epic discussion on Twitter about what would work best, I’ve been convinced to level my RK.
Since I want to level this character as fast as possible to catch up to a couple of level 50 somethings, and having 4 kids that are 6 years old and under kind of limits your play time, I’m going to level my RK to 30, and then try to get him all the way to 50 through skirmishes. I want to see if this will be faster/more efficient than leveling a character through traditional questing. So I’m going to write down my played time for my RK, and then the race is on. Once that’s done, I’ll level a character through questing, and compare the times.
We’ll see how the gear/deeds/etc. stack up at the end.
Lets see how that works out, shall we?
See you in-game!
